As a young man, Chuck Toulouse began his career starting as an apprentice meat cutter in 1973 at IGA in Eatonville. Showing hard work and a strong interest, he began to learn the skilled trade of being a Butcher.
Chuck and Ann Toulouse with his parents Charla and the late Lamar Toulouse, opened “Double “T” Meats” in October of 2006. With God’s blessings and an amazing community of customers, the store as grown by leaps and bounds over the last 13 years. We have carefully created, tested, and perfected our quality smoked recipes and have carried on Lamar’s famous Smoked Chicken Salad. Each will leave you with a taste to remember!
